Kite Festival San Vito Lo Capo

Every day, from 10:00 to 17:30, the public will be able to watch free flights on the beach. The sky will be animated by shapes, colors and moving structures that will offer a continuous show. Among the most anticipated moments, there is the night flight scheduled for Saturday evening: fluorescent kites will illuminate the sky with figures and plays of light.

In addition to the giant inflatables, such as the dinosaurs already present in the last edition, new figures never shown before in San Vito lo Capo will be introduced, further enriching the visual spectacle.

Among the participants there will also be Loris Benenati, 9 years old, originally from Castellammare del Golfo. He is the youngest acrobatic kite pilot in Italy. After participating in the Grande Festival di Jesolo, he is ready to perform with new performances.

The Festival program is not limited to air shows. In Piazza Santuario, every evening there will be free events with performances by street artists, creative workshops open to adults and children to learn how to build kites, and stands dedicated to typical products and local crafts.

The appointment is in San Vito lo Capo, from May 21st to 25th, for five days dedicated to flight, creativity and the meeting of cultures, with the sea and the beach as a backdrop.
