The refined brioche dough meets strong flavors and becomes street food

Very tasty, but light, baked calzones please everyone.

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 500 g Flour
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 10 g salt
  • 60 g Butter
  • 25 g brewer's yeast
  • 250 ml Water
  • 1 Egg
  • 250 g Dried ham
  • 250 g Mozzarella cheese
  • q.s. Tomato sauce
  • q.s. Origan

Process


Calzoni siciliani al forno

Let's prepare the brioche dough.
Place all the ingredients in a container and mix with a blender using the pizza whisk, adding the water little by little. You will get a slightly sticky dough.

Now place the dough on a floured surface and start kneading it for a few minutes with your hands, without adding any more flour.
Let the dough rest for an hour.

When the dough is ready, divide it into several parts and form small loaves. Spread them out and place the mozzarella and cooked ham in the center, the tomato sauce and a pinch of oregano, then close in a crescent shape, sealing the edges well.

Place the trousers on the baking tray lined with baking paper and leave them to rest for another 30 minutes.
At this point you just have to brush the trousers with beaten egg and sprinkle them with sesame.

Place in a hot oven at 200° for about 15 minutes.
As soon as they are puffy and golden, you can take them out of the oven.
Enjoy your meal!
