Once again San Vito Lo Capo establishes itself as the most sought-after seaside destination in Italy
In the national ranking of the most popular seaside destinations for summer 2024, San Vito Lo Capo comes in third place, only after Rimini in first place and Jesolo in second.
The prestigious Panorama Turismo - Mare Italia ranking was curated by the prestigious Italian observatory JFC, specialized in research and analysis in the tourism sector.
San Vito Lo Capo , with its splendid beach, stands out as a very important new entry. In fourth position shines Riccione in Emilia Romagna and then Alghero in Sardinia, followed by Forte dei Marmi, in Tuscany and Cervia-Milano Marittima.
Looking at the Top 10, we also find, a new entry, Tropea in Calabria, followed by the suggestive Gallipoli in Puglia.
There is no doubt that these Italian seaside destinations have won the hearts of tourists, proving that they have everything you want for an unforgettable holiday.
As regards the "greenest" destinations, in first place we find Sicily with our San Vito Lo Capo , which gains 13 positions compared to last year, followed by Alghero in second and the new entry Pula.
Finally, for families with children, the undisputed queen of seaside destinations that best satisfy "family needs" is Rimini in first place with 898 points (maintaining its leadership of recent years). In second place is Cattolica with 856 points (same position as last year) and in third place Alba Adriatica with 807 points, which improves by eight positions compared to last year.
