Any moment is the right one for a regenerating break.
Get your hiking boots, camera and packed lunch ready, we'll take you around western Sicily to discover fantastic destinations, just a few minutes from San Vito Lo Capo... let's go!!!

First stop Erice , a fascinating and mysterious medieval village, among the most beautiful in Italy.
Its enchanting atmosphere gives many emotions at any time of the day.
Towers, castles, flower-filled courtyards and a hundred churches that are just worth a visit.

Coming down from Erice we meet the Erice Adventure Park , a few minutes from Trapani.
A relaxing stop in this magnificent natural corner will allow you to admire a splendid view of the Egadi islands, perhaps taking advantage of the equipped areas for a nice picnic.

The itinerary continues towards Trapani , to visit its interesting historic centre, and after towards the large expansion of salt pans, where there is a small but precious museum dedicated to the white gold of the island: Salt!

The museum is located within the suggestive “Via del Sale”, a path made of windmills, sunsets and ancient traditions dedicated to the processing of salt.

Wanted by its founder Alberto Culcasi, the Museum of salt is housed inside an ancient 17th century baglio with an adjoining mill.
Numerous instruments are preserved there, including an ancient Archimedean screw that sucked water from one basin to another.
An interesting collection that tests to the harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
Even today it is not uncommon to find the blades of the mills in motion, it is no coincidence that the Phoenicians, 3000 years ago, chose this windswept place to build the first tanks.

In this area extends the Salt pans Natural Reserve of Trapani, protected and managed by the WWF, a unique habitat for the highly prized avifauna and the Mediterranean flora present. Birdwatching is the activity that adults and children can do with the specialized staff of the WWF, for the observation of numerous species including the pink flamingo, the slender-billed gull and the black-winged stilts.

An active holiday is ideal for families who want to visit and get to know Sicily through new itineraries, where team spirit leads to new travel experiences, to photograph, remember and above all tell!
