Borgo Parrini, a small village between colors and poetry, in Sicily

Arriving on a sunny day at Borgo Parrini, Partinico, is truly a stroke of luck because all its colors are a true hymn to joy. This small village, a few kilometers from San Vito Lo Capo, was founded by the Jesuits between the 16th and 17th centuries, built around a small church dedicated to Maria Santissima del Rosario, which can still be visited today.

Abandoned for a long time by its inhabitants, the village has come back to life only a few years ago, thanks to an artistic and cultural recovery project strongly desired by a local entrepreneur, with a passion for art.

An architecture reminiscent of Gaudí

The colorful houses of the village are decorated with lively mosaics made with fragments of Sicilian ceramics, in bright colors such as blue and yellow. The artistic details and irregular shapes make every corner particularly suggestive, perfect for photography lovers.
Walking in the heart of the village, stop to read the beautiful phrases, borrowed from poets and writers, painted on the facades together with fantastic flowers... enjoy the enchantment of its atmosphere.

Looking up you will notice several small bell towers on the roofs of the houses; they reproduce the most famous bell towers in Italy.
