When summer ends and the sea grows quieter, San Vito Lo Capo changes pace but doesn't lose its warmth. In December, the town lights up with lights, voices, and gatherings with "...Beyond Summer... Christmas," a program of events promoted by the Municipality in conjunction with associations, tourism operators, parishes, and schools.
From December 14, 2025, to January 6, 2026, San Vito Lo Capo, Macari, and Castelluzzo will become places to experience slowly. The streets will host tastings, shows, entertainment, workshops, and games. Music will accompany the days, with concerts, band parades, Dixieland performances, and bagpipes. There will also be bingo, sports tournaments, dance, film, and activities designed for children, who remain the focus of this period.
It's a Christmas made of simple gestures, community, and shared time. An opportunity to be together and feel part of the same place, even out of season.
The calendar concludes on January 6th with the flight of the Befana, a moment that bids farewell to the holidays and leaves a sense of continuity in the air. As Mayor Francesco La Sala recalls, it's a program built with commitment and collaboration, grown year after year, and now part of San Vito Lo Capo's winter identity.
