You will admire Cala Tonnarella dell'Uzzo from above and with your gaze you will be able to admire the magnificent Gulf of Castellammare.
After 15 minutes, you'll be near the Museum of Rural Life . It's worth stopping to visit. The custodians are always welcoming and will be happy to explain the exhibits to you.
Continuing, after a few minutes you'll reach the Uzzo Cave . A large cavity in the rock face, where several traces of Paleolithic human presence have been found. After a short break, you'll continue uphill and admire spectacular views. Follow the path to the next fork; clear signs will direct you to Contrada Sughero and then to Borgo Cusenza.
The climb begins to take its toll, but the effort is well compensated by a variety of breathtaking views. Once you reach C.da Sughero, you'll find a series of farmhouses that the management offers as shelters for those who wish to spend the night. The trail continues, still ascending, above the first farmhouse you come across.
The view of the gulf below becomes increasingly grandiose.
The ancient buildings of Borgo Cusenza will suddenly appear. Stop a little longer to enjoy the tranquility of this extremely charming place, steeped in history. The feeling is like stepping back in time. The various farmhouses have been restored and furnished to recreate the atmosphere of the time when the village was inhabited.
The path will continue towards a forest road and after about 500 meters you will find the sign to go down towards the sea.
This is a gully that will first lead you to the caves of Mastro Peppe Siino and then take you to the half-coast path that will take you back to the starting point.
Before leaving the reserve you can go down to Tonnarella dell'Uzzo, the most famous of the seven coves of Zingaro and perhaps also visit the nearby Museum of Maritime Activities .
