Naviganti - San Vito Buskers Festival

Acrobats between sky and sea, visionary clowns, tireless jugglers, and acrobats transform the squares and alleys of San Vito Lo Capo into a vast open-air stage.

From September 4th to 6th, the seaside village hosts the fourth edition of Naviganti, the buskers festival dedicated to street arts and the new circus.

The event features around 40 artists from Italy and abroad, including Finland. The free performances take place at various locations across the town: Piazza Santuario, Piazza Marinella, the Cous Cous promenade, and Piazza Girolamo Cusenza.

The program opens with the cabaret of the Circo Bottoni and continues with shows like Billy the Chicken Show!: juggling, balancing, a trunk full of surprises, and Billy's unpredictable wit lead Gianda into a continuous dialogue with the audience.

The Duo Bau Show brings eccentric characters on stage who alternate gags, acrobatics, hula hoops and handstand acts.

Finnish company Käpy Company presents With Big Boots, a contemporary circus show that reflects on finding one's path in life. Nudimascalzi presents Apologia dell'armadio, loosely based on Zerocalcare's The Armadillo's Prophecy.

The closing performance is Miniminaggi by Salvatore Cappello, a blend of childhood memories, Sicilian storytelling traditions, and acrobatics that transports spectators to places of memory, real or imagined.
